JUSTIN

Justin was born right outside of New York City and has been perfecting his craft for over 15 years. What started as an early foundation with instruments has developed into deep expertise in both electronic music production and DJing. Since an early age, he and Nick have been exploring the complexities of electronic music production and experimenting with software
and instruments alike.

In his undergrad years, Justin established a recording studio service producing and tracking vocals for local artists of all genres, while also providing introductory DJ courses to students as part of a school-run organization. Through this experience, he gained real-world insight into both music creation and education, refining his teaching approach while building a strong foundation in Music production and DJ lessons NYC for aspiring artists and performers.

He and Nick moved to New York City in 2024, where they officially launched the ‘Losing Stereo’ project and have since released several tracks and played around the city. To this day, Justin retains his love for sharing his craft and is excited to do so with new students.

NICK

Nick has an extensive history in music stretching back to his early childhood when he began on the piano. He crossed paths with Justin at an early age, and together they explored electronic music production and songwriting, fostering each other’s creativity and sharing guidance nearly a decade before launching their project. Nick’s early experience also includes work at a recording studio, where he learned to collaborate with artists across all genres and experience levels, helping shape his approach to Music production and DJ lessons NYC through both technical knowledge and creative mentorship.

Nick moved to Montreal for his undergrad, where he spent time in the local scene playing clubs and even a fashion show. Since moving to New York City, his efforts have been focused on developing the ‘Losing Stereo’ project with Justin. At the heart of all his work lies the passion for the music and community - he is excited to guide students and
exchange ideas in the studio.
