Welcome to LosingStero.com ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company"). By accessing our website or enrolling in any of our DJ lesson programs, you ("Student," "Client," or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our website or enroll in our programs.
1. Services Offered
LosingStero.com provides individual and group DJ lessons and performance training to aspiring performing DJs. Our services include but are not limited to:
• One-on-one DJ instruction (in-person and/or online)
• Performance coaching and stage presence training
• Music mixing, beat matching, and technical equipment training
• Music theory and set structure guidance
• Career and industry guidance for aspiring performing DJs
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice to enrolled students.
2. Enrollment and Eligibility
To enroll in our programs, you must:
• Be at least 13 years of age. Students under 18 must have written parental or guardian consent.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or terminate a student's participation at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or conduct that disrupts the learning environment.
3. Lesson Scheduling and Attendance
a) Scheduling: Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement between the student and instructor. Confirmed lesson times are binding for both parties.
b) Cancellation by Student: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the lesson fee at our discretion.
c) No-Shows: Students who do not attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will forfeit the lesson fee for that session.
d) Cancellation by Instructor: If we need to cancel a lesson, we will provide as much notice as possible and will reschedule the lesson at no additional charge or issue a credit toward a future session.
e) Repeated Cancellations: Excessive cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension or termination of enrollment without refund.
4. Fees, Payment, and Refunds
a) Lesson Fees: Current lesson rates are listed on our website and are subject to change. Any rate changes will be communicated to active students with at least 14 days' notice.
b) Payment: Payment is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via the methods listed on our website. All transactions are processed securely through our third-party payment processor.
c) Packages: Lesson packages must be used within the timeframe specified at the time of purchase. Unused lessons in a package that expires will not be refunded unless otherwise agreed in writing.
d) Refunds: Refunds are issued at our discretion. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to our contact email. Refunds will not be issued for lessons already completed or for no-show sessions.
e) Chargebacks: If you initiate an unauthorized chargeback with your payment provider, we reserve the right to suspend your account and pursue recovery of fees owed.
5. Student Conduct and Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled lessons.
• Treat instructors and other students with respect and professionalism.
• Refrain from recording lessons without prior written consent from the instructor.
• Not share, resell, or redistribute any lesson materials, recordings, or proprietary content provided by LosingStero.com.
• Use all equipment responsibly and report any damage immediately.
We reserve the right to dismiss any student whose behavior is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to the learning environment, without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on LosingStero.com, including but not limited to lesson materials, videos, course structures, written guides, graphics, logos, and website design, is the intellectual property of LosingStero.com and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use lesson materials solely for their personal educational development. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without our express written permission.
7. Equipment and Technical Requirements
Students are responsible for having appropriate equipment available for their lessons, as communicated by their instructor. LosingStero.com is not responsible for technical difficulties arising from a student's equipment, internet connection, or software for online sessions.
If lessons are conducted at a studio or physical location, students must follow all facility rules and handle all equipment with reasonable care. Students may be held liable for damage caused by negligence or misuse.
8. Recordings and Media Consent
By enrolling in our services, you grant LosingStero.com permission to record lessons or sessions solely for the purpose of educational review, quality assurance, or instructor training, unless you opt out in writing prior to your first session.
We will not publish, share, or commercially distribute recordings of your individual lessons without your explicit written consent. However, you consent to us using general, non-identifying footage or testimonials for promotional purposes if separately agreed upon.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees that our lessons will result in specific outcomes, career opportunities, bookings, or performance engagements. Success as a performing DJ depends on many individual factors beyond our control.
We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LosingStero.com, its instructors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website, including loss of income, loss of data, or personal injury.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LosingStero.com and its instructors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
