REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At LosingStero.com, we respect the time of both our students and instructors. This policy outlines how cancellations, credits, and no-shows are handled for all DJ lesson bookings. By booking a lesson with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Cancellation Credit Policy

LosingStero.com does not issue monetary refunds of any kind. If you need to cancel a lesson, you may receive a credit toward your next scheduled lesson under the following condition:

  • You must contact your instructor by email or text message at least 72 hours before your scheduled lesson date and time.

Credits are applied to the next lesson only, have no cash value, and are non-transferable to other students.

2. How to Cancel — Contact Your Instructor Directly

To cancel and receive your lesson credit, you must reach your instructor directly using one of these methods:

  • Text Message: Send a text to your instructor's provided phone number.

  • Email: Send a message to your instructor's provided email address.

The 72-hour window is calculated from your lesson's exact start time. Example: If your lesson is Saturday at 3:00 PM, you must cancel no later than Wednesday at 3:00 PM.

Cancellations sent through social media, third-party apps, or any channel other than direct email or text to your instructor will not be accepted unless confirmed in writing by your instructor.

TIP: Always save a screenshot or record of your cancellation message as proof. LosingStero.com is not responsible for messages that are undelivered due to issues on the student's end.

3. Late Cancellations (Under 72 Hours)

If you cancel with less than 72 hours' notice before your scheduled lesson:

  • No credit will be issued.

  • The lesson fee is fully forfeited.

  • Repeated late cancellations (3 or more within a 6-month period) may result in suspension of booking privileges.

 

4. No-Show Policy

A no-show occurs when a student does not attend a scheduled lesson and fails to contact their instructor before the lesson start time.

No-Show Fee: A flat fee of $50.00 will be charged to the payment method on file for each no-show occurrence.

  • The lesson fee for the missed session is also forfeited — no credit is issued for no-shows.

  • A second no-show within any 6-month period may require pre-payment for all future bookings.

  • A third no-show may result in permanent suspension from our program.

 

5. Instructor Cancellations

If your instructor must cancel a scheduled lesson:

  • You will be notified as early as possible — we aim to provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

  • You will receive a full credit toward your next lesson or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

  • Instructor cancellations will never result in any fee or forfeiture for the student.

 

6. Prepaid Lesson Packages

For students who have purchased lesson packages:

  • All unused lessons in a package are credited toward future sessions — no monetary refunds are issued.

  • Packages have an expiration period communicated at the time of purchase. Lessons not used before expiration are forfeited.

  • If LosingStero.com discontinues a package offering, all remaining unused lessons will remain valid as session credits.

 

7. Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at the email below before initiating a dispute or chargeback through your payment provider. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of fees including any processing costs incurred by LosingStero.com.

 

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Active students will be notified of material changes by email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
